应我院邀请，3月4日下午，台湾交通大学陈瑞顺教授在砺志楼114作了《Intelligent IOT RFID Technology Application on Edge computing》的报告。相关老师聆听了此次报告，报告由李建喜教授主持。

在报告中，陈瑞顺博士首先简单介绍了RFID系统解决方案的结构以及举了一些RFID系统解决方案的案例。接着陈瑞顺教授生动地阐述了RFID用于工业4.0的案例。然后介绍了边缘运算的定义和用于边缘计算的RFID参数，最后他用多个实例来解说关于边缘计算方面的应用。报告结束后，在座的老师和学生就相关研究问题进行了探讨和交流。

Dr. Ruey-shun Chen is a professor of the Institute of Information Management at National Chiao Tung University and China University of Technology at Taiwan. His research interests include IoT, big data processing and software engineering, such as RFID application systems and industry production management systems, as well as production systems for RFID cloud-based computing. He was a recipient of a 2014 Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) Excellent award in Taiwan and his research activities have been continuously supported by the MOST. He has served on many conference program committees and proposal review panels. He has been involved in projects at Ministry of Economic as a collaborator for providing high-quality Internet-wide services based on RFID, resulting in many significant publications over 200 at top-tier Journal and conferences. Dr. Chen’s research has generated substantial impact in industry where several of his proposed algorithms for RFID application have been officially adopted into industry applications.
